In The New Year

Soon it will be the coming of the new year,
You look back on your life and the memories are clear.
You look at your life and decide some things need to change,
You look to the Lord and ask Him to start to rearrange.
You wonder what to keep and wonder what to leave behind,
The Lord begins to take over changing the thoughts in your mind.
The old you will be gone - and the new you will take control,
With the Lord in charge He holds the destiny of your soul.
He knows what's best for you for the Lord knows your heart,
He will turn your life around if you give Him a chance to start.
So if you're down about the start of another new year,
Just let the Lord take over and He will get your life in the right gear!
