False hoods
In shadows cast by a deceitful guise,
A father's mask conceals his wicked lies.
With words so sweet, he feigns a gentle grace,
Yet darkness lurks behind his smiling face.
He plays the role of kindness to the crowd,
While silently, his venomous words are loud.
In secret corners, where no eyes can see,
He weaves a web of pain, his cruelty free.
To others, he portrays a loving guide,
But in your heart, his torment does reside.
He twists your words, distorts your every deed,
Creating tales of malice, planting seeds.
His twisted tales, like poison, spread afar,
Tainting minds, leaving scars that ever mar.
He paints you as the villain, cold and cruel,
While he, the puppeteer, plays the fool.
You bear the weight of his relentless scorn,
As he manipulates, your spirit worn.
But know, dear one, his lies cannot define,
The strength and goodness that within you shine.
For in the depths of darkness, you will find,
A light that burns, unyielding, unconfined.
Though he may try to break your spirit's flight,
Your truth will rise, a beacon shining bright.
So let his falsehoods wither, fade away,
For you are not the monster he portrays.
In time, the world will see his twisted game,
And you, dear one, will rise above the shame.
Remember, love, your worth cannot be swayed,
By a father's cruel games, so falsely played.
Embrace the truth, let healing tears be shed,
And rise above the lies, with strength ahead.
