Phoenix Flight

A phoenix with a broken wing,
What a sight,
Flying on a broken dream.

No idea where it's going,
Only knowing the dream below,
A cracked illusion,
Chipping away.

The day it stops is the day it ends,
The day the dream cannot mend.

A show of weakness,
Yet such strength,
Flying the length of worlds,
Forgotten in the fabric of time,
A simple myth,
Lost at the end of the line.
