LETTER TO MY BOSS

You are a rare gem,
and one to be reckoned with.
a real man,
one whom the crown fits.

I have lived with you,
and can now say so.
Your love in full,
with care and more.

Just for a few days,
and it was already like ages.
You are never to be replaced,
and the 'why' is in the pages...

I remember you always chastised,
which really built me up.
Talking about the house,
how even the road was such a flop.

Although I would be angry,
as the bitterness of truth struck.
But you were just being honest,
which was and is for me my luck.

We would make noodles,
sometimes with pudding or eggs.
Take a bike home,
and sometimes on legs.

We would go to the island,
in a bid to get us jobs.
Driving and chatting,
about the future with us at the top.

And then I left you, to explore,
yet you still care for me.
You've shown me love and more,
that even my friends can see.

Even with a million words,
it is hard to sing your praises.
Our meeting was for a good cause,
and will yet be relevant for ages.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU SIR.
MY FRIEND, BROTHER, FATHER, MENTOR,
MY OGA.
