It has to be you

Adson Denis 1980 (Lagonave)

It has to be you because the tattoo from your lips still adheres to my forehead.
It has to be you because I can smell the scent of your cooking miles away.
It has to be you because the room is sparklingly clean.
It has to be you because your sweet scent gave you away.
When we're walking they stand as two mountains around us, the ground is green underneath our feet as the stars stand still above our heads showing us the path to take.
We are surrounded by this invisible fan that's caressing your hair suddenly, the window of my heart opens, and the universe is afoot right in front of me since there's no word to describe such beauty, it has to be you.
It has to be you when I feel adrift this voice in the wind whispers courage to my ears.
It has to be you when love flies away your memory becomes a substitution.
It has to be you when I feel all alone your presence comes to fill in the blank.
It has to be you because my heart always jiggles whenever I hear your voice.
It has to be because my heart can't seem to love no other but you.
