Who is she?
The person I used to be.
Bright eyes and wide smile.
Her laughter echoes through my head,
Like a gentle breeze dancing through trees.
Look in the mirror I can not see,
The person I used to be.
Close my eyes and I know why
Her laughter quiets and smile fades.
All this time and all that’s happened,
This place I feel I am trapped in.
Her laughter no longer echoes,
She’s forgotten and lost.
Screaming and crying,
Just wanting to be.
The person I used to be.
Missing her laughter and real smile,
Unlike the one I paint on now.
I just miss the happy little girl,
I once was.
