Seasons

Seasons
The flowers of spring are blooming, like my love for you each passing day.
With every petal, my heart is blooming, in shades of pink and shades of gray.

The summer is warm, but bittersweet, for your absence traps me in an ice cold prison.
I long for your warmth, your voice, your heartbeat, to melt away this cold and bring me to my vision.

The autumn leaves are lost to gravity, like my tears whenever you're not beside me.
But even in my sadness, I find clarity, for my love for you will always be, endlessly.

The winter is overwhelming with an intense cold,
But the fire in your eyes and the flame of your smile,
When I finally see you;my heart unfolds,
And I am engulfed in warmth, even for a little while.

Seasons may change, and time may pass,
But the love I have for you will never be surpassed.
It will stand the test of time, and forever last,
For you are my everything, my present, my past.
