Feeling Alone

Dale D Fenner 1962 (Allentown PA)

I feel alone in my room.
At times I feel like nothing goes right.
My spirits are up, then something goes wrong.
And down I go into the dark.
Will this feeling ever end, I do not know.
I feel alone, even in a crowded room.
I think would I be missed.
Would everyone be better off without me.
But then I think that is not fare.
Not fare at all, I would be missed.
Bad times come, bad times go.
I'm not alone, not alone at all.
I pray for help, and help will come.
I must keep in mind.
I am not really ever alone.
