Hibernation
Jasmin Acikgöz 2005 (Osnabrück)
January 24In winter, where nothing grows
And nothing lives i could
Swear that you appear
(and give me comfort)
(As cold as the snow
And as unpredictable as the storm)
I don’t know where you are
You are as invisible as the wind
I close my eyes and
Act as if you were here
Do I have to become a storm
To catch you ?
About this poem
Since i was a child, i dreamt of a person. I see this person everywhere but I cannot catch him, because he’s always so fast and easily vanishes, this might be the case or perhaps I might be too slow and it is my fault for not being able to catch him ? Nonetheless i am eager to meet him and i am not giving up
