What is Love

Love is the courage to be true,
the absence of fear.
It's when you hold someone in your heart
whether they are far or near.

To love is to sacrifice.
Be it your ego or your pride,
or that wall you built to keep you safe inside.

Love is within me, within you,
within us all.
It just wants to come out and play
if only we would let our pain fall.

Love is the greatest, the grandest,
the best!
Oh, how grateful I am
for the love I have,
from the day I was born
to the day they lay me to rest.
