PUZZLES

PUZZLES;

I am trying to remember the hours.
They come quickly, one after another.
Young faces with mangled bodies torn beyond recognition,
A puzzle of shredded flesh with pieces missing.
Why have they vanished? Where have they gone?
How can I put the likeness back together again?
The shower feels good against my aching flesh,
I must be careful no pieces are washed away.
