Homeless

Too many times
I’ve cried myself to sleep.
Wondered if the next meal I’d eat,
Would still be on the street.
Look at me Lord and give me hope.
To hold me in your arms,
And never let go.
You’re the only family I have,
I look upon you,
As a son looks at his dad.
Tomorrow is another day.
These same words I say,
To you I pray.
