From The Ashes, I rise

Flame's fiercely raging, while my soul burn's to ash.
Clouded by the memories, of a drugged up past;  Trying to let myself go, let the darkness slip away. Break free from the wrath of madness, in hopes my soul will fly free again, high into the heavens, washed of all its shame and sin.

That I may once again breath through the  silence while dusting off the pain of shame, reborn like the phoenix in fire, And from the Ashes of the shallows, with one last spark my soul has risen soaring up to see the world anew, free from any weight. Finally beginning a life anew.

About this poem

From darkness to light, and weighted to flight shedding our past , freeing ones soul. From the depths of drug addiction to letting go and seeing the light. Surrender
