NEVER BEFORE

NEVER BEFORE...

Never before have I seen what I've seen
Never before did I know what life could mean
Never before have I basked in Your Light
Never before have I felt so right!

Never before have I met You in Your place
Never before have I gazed upon Your Face
Never before have I bowed in Your Grace

And I'll never go back again
Never stop this journey I begin
Never before, and never again

I didn't know what I missed for so long
I wandered so far Never knowing I was wrong
Living life a weak man, believing I was strong
Sinful man listening to an alien song
Thank You, God, I'm right where I belong

Never before did I know what Glory meant
Never before have I followed where You went
Never before did I see Your Cross of Pain
Never before did I see sacrifice as gain

Victory in death, such a mystery
Victory over death that sets me free
Never before, never again!

Never before have I sought Your place
Never before did I seek Your Face
Never before have I bowed in Your Grace

I was lost before I found You
Blind and I had no clue
I couldn't find a path that was true
I didn't know what to do
Never before, and now I do!

Never before...Never before
I just can't ignore
Never before...Never before
Had I peace in the midst of war
Never before...Never before
I can't go back any more!

I see You on the Cross of wood
My great God so good
Salvation I've had Never before
In all the Love You have in store

Never before did I know I was blind
Never before have I recognized a sign
Never before did I know I needed to be found
Never before has life seemed to abound

Never before have I come to Your place
Never before did I seek Your face
Never before have I bowed in Your Grace

I'll never go back...Never go back...
Never go back again
Never stop this Journey I begin
Never before, Lord, and never again
AMEN
