Battle of Hatred

Habitual words draping thickly along raging lips
Alliances now covered in crimson blood
Tethered to the ground by failed hope
Regret’s fluidity running through veins
Endless building of hostile emotions
Deafening all other voices deep within the mind

Ostentatiously attempting to vanish the opposition
Negating all advantageous aspirations
Listening to one's own darkness
Yarning to smash skulls with brute force

Hammering heart drowning out each vicious slice
Unity in only the rhythm of clashing metal
Righteously creating pools of red
Taking corrupt souls as justice
Silencing the heretics at the vanguard

Youth’s fortitude allowing merciless strikes
Obliterating the mere idea of rebellion
Unleashing of dark meddlesome energy
Raising pressure behind eyes of determination
Stepping heavily upon bodies lingering in death
Every bone snapping along the path of glory
Levitating the rage lying just beneath the surface
Forever lost deep in endless battle

That build up was awesome! I could feel the brutality, I actually thought you might be genuinely angry.

"Obliterating the mere idea of rebellion" that line, I liked it all but that line was extra spiteful.
