Everything Is You

Everything Is You

Everything is you in thought and form
And all the things beautiful
What inspires and informs me
As good I find in you
It’s easy to smile
When you arrive
Your embrace is the Moon
Wrapping silence in music
Dazzling my doldrums
With ripples of melodic light.

How easy it is to sing your praises
Dancing like a Friday night
You unravel my dandelion
Casting my cares into the wind
Your way with words
Blows a cool breeze
Soothing my sun scorched days
Erasing the uneasy tensions
With the touch of your hand
Letting me rest my head.

Spreading your mighty wings out
We fly friendly skies as one
Soaring above troubles
Fading as pale ghosts
Failing to return to life
Heaven opens up
Angelic paradise on Earth
With you there is safety
Infinite refuge and grace
A home where my heart is.
