WHERE HIS GRACE IS

WHERE HIS GRACE IS

I've been around the world,  many different places
Seen lost despair,  on as many different faces
Heard them cry out in that despair,
"God! Who am I that you even care?"
And finding that is where His Grace is

So often we rely, on who we think we are
But when we're weak, hope seems so far
Strength fails, but you're so very wrong
It's when we're weak that He is strong
And we are His, by His Blood we are

In our sins we were all dead, in the grave
Desperate for some Hope that could Save
We thought that our Hope was dead
But what where those last words He said
He said that our sins He forgave

Take up your Cross and follow me
And only then you'll be truly free
His Words defeated the grave
Through His blood we are saved
Will you be what you're called to be?

Do you know? Did you count the cost?
Do you care? Will you seek the Lost?
Leave behind your comfort zone
Because you're never alone
Since you bowed before the Cross
Amen

About this poem

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. Matthew 16 24-25
