WISE MEN SPEAK

WISE MEN SPEAK

Wise men are crying out
The world frowns in doubt
We're fighting another bout
Voices too hoarse to shout
The enemy claims a rout
Fear of the Trumpet's Shout

Wise men quickly run
Cause the devil's got a gun
But the rebel isn't done
Fear hiding the lost one
Crying, are we having fun?
You know you need the Son

Wise men quickly fall
On knees to Heaven call
The fools say no thanks y'all
As the world starts to stall
Rage shakes the weary ball
Who answers Heaven's call?

Wise men have learned the Name
Life will not be the same
Let's crash the devil's game
As he tries to cast the blame
See again the healed lame
There's power in His Name!

Wise men silent in prayer
Hey, were getting there
There's the dead distant stare
Of a world that just doesn't care
Sins are too great to bear
Hear the Trumpet's in the Air!

Wise men still the Lord seek
He who gives strength to weak
Beyond the world dare peek
And can't be silent, speak
Come on and be a Jesus Freak
Jesus, the Name wise men speak
AMEN

About this poem

The simple believe anything, but the prudent give thought to their steps. The wise fear the Lord and shun evil, but a fool is hotheaded and yet feels secure. Proverbs 14:15-16
