When drowning in fear
You might shed a tear
If oceans of strife
Bring sadness to life.

You might need to tread
With waves on your head
While you figure out
Suppressing all doubt
That you will prevail
With no boat to sail.

Exchange mental racket;
Emotional jackets
Will help you to float.
You do get to vote
On whether you will
Swim off or stay "still".

Your faith and your strength
Will help you at length.
So don't be afraid
Or doubt will invade.
Be buoyant in thought
And not filled with fraught!
