To a Daughter and Granddaughter

Only the mine knows
when you care about someone.
The day I gave birth my heart glows
when you see that little hand
that god himself gave you that demand
Always cherish the love
with the help from God above
Until your time may end
you never know when that day may be
so wrap your arms around that little one
and set your heart and soul free
For you know how to guide that child
through life and memories
So when I'm gone to Heaven above
your child will know they were loved
So say that prayer to the God above
and let him know he was much loved
please don't forget me with a great big hug
For I will be waiting with my arms opened wide
please don't she'd a tear please don't cry
For you know I'm at peace with the man above
please always remember your loved
Even though I'm not here now
you know I'm free of pain
So please go on for now
and be a good mom and do the same
So for now be real proud
because I know you will do the same
A child is born to an amazing daughter
I have know worries you will go further
I will stand up here and watch with no fear
As you tell her nanny is near
So open your eyes little one
you know nanny has won
I know you will raise her with all your love
As I watch with tears from up above
so for now I'm gonna go
please always know
I'm in your heart as you grow
for i will see you again
So please don't forget me until then.
