Passing Moments
If all the World could only see,
The likes of Lives there yet to be;
And all the Planets in their Glory,
Shown down 'pon those who worry.
The gift of Futures yet to come;
To ride 'longside the Mighty One;
And all the World in all its tension,
Could once traverse the Fourth Dimension.
T'was written by a Sage of Old,
"This World was made up for the Bold!"
And the Earth may never see the sum,
Of 'morrows that will never come.
But what if Time is make believe,
A clever trick from someone's sleeve;
And all that was and e'er shall be,
Are lost to places none may see?
We look upon achievements done,
And say, “We are the Immortal One!"
And by the fury of a jealous God,
Are struck down to the filthy sod.
We shall yet grovel at His feet,
And know our Crimes will see defeat;
For we have slapped the face of God,
And turned away without a nod.
The Venture-Tracks of things to be,
Are gathered there for all to see;
To warp the scheme of all that is,
And know that there is more than this.
And God will laugh, for He does know,
That all of Life is but a show;
While the Comic theme that we play out,
Constructs in each a heavy doubt.
Yet I feel safe in what I know,
That Seasons come and Seasons go,
And Earth, like Time, will ever turn,
And Solar Flares will ever burn.
Should Time be real and on our side,
Perhaps we shall yet learn to ride,
At the side of the Mighty One,
And see Redemption for all save none.
Trekking Tracks in Fourth Dimension,
To ease this World of all her tension;
The Venture-Tracks of things to be,
The likes of Lives there yet to see.
And once again we come upon,
A Future of the World as one;
To know of Time and where it went;
To see all things as Heaven-sent.
If all the World could only see,
The likes of Lives there yet to be;
And all the Planets, in their Glory,
Shone down 'pon those who worry.
