The Budding Warrior’s decree

Charles Bateman 1964 (Los Angeles)

Right now is all there is, not yesterday,
nor tomorrow.
Contentment is choice, as is joy with much sorrow.
The hands of time move forward and ticking.
I came into this world, crying and kicking.
The negative thoughts that rise up to chain me. Are losing this fight which
now entertain me.
I will cast them away to a place called I don’t care.
No longer my master, as of now their in nowhere.
