Sunbathing.

Jesus it’s hot.
I’m burned to a crisp.
Feels a bit demanding
to be asked to even think.

Don’t want to speak,
or flick out a limb –
Just lie back and calmly let the
sunlight really bake me.

Such a sunny day.
Burn my worries away.

Jesus it’s hot.
I’m losing my grip.
But I can’t move
coz if I do
I’ll lose positional bliss.

Decking and seat
are glued to my skin.
If I didn’t have a drink
I’d swear that this was
Hades.

Such a sunny day.
Burn my worries away.

And when there’s clouds in the sky -
inside I go.
When it starts to shine...
back outside
with a

And I don’t wanna be cold again.
I just wanna burn
my brain
away.

Jesus it’s hot.
An ‘Icarus kiss’
Turning
when the burning
makes my eyes start to fizz.
Feeling the sweat

down my chin.
Fix
me
up
another
drink
before
I’m
desiccated.

Such a sunny day.
Burn my worries away.
Such a lovely,lovely day.
Burn all my pain away.
OH WHAT A LOVELY DAY.
