Found

I’ve wandered and I’ve stumbled
I’ve ran and I’ve crumbled
I’ve been lost…
And I’ve had a track

Until the day I fell
Until the day I felt frozen
Until I was vanishing
As if fate had chosen

Now I’m not lost anymore
I’ve found my control
And not a place, but a home
I’ve found your soul…

And I’ve been happy
And I’ve been in love
I’ve felt myself flying
High up above

But I am now confused
Because after love, happiness and grace
You still showed me a higher state
That I will always embrace

About this poem

This poems shows how the poet has been used to feel away from what would be his path, but was still able to enjoy and adore life. Until he fell into a darker place where at a certain point he couldn’t see an exit from. And when he did, he came back to experiencing love and happiness and to enjoy life, but even after all this ecstasy-like experiences and feelings, he met someone who managed to go beyond all that and make him understand new and higher levels of Life.
