Before the Light
When we lived in the
dark, dark land
We knew not
how to understand
When we lived in the
dark, dark land
We were strange
like the dark, dark sands
Whole, whole worlds
were another plan(et)
Far, far away from
where we stand it
We sat down when
the Sun went down
We got up
with the people 'round
We built huts like
we all knew how
We grew crops
when the Sun was well
We hid inside when
the white stuff fell...
And drank our water
from the dark well
