Pursuing Ultimate Reality

In response to the call
Which they hear
In their hearts
Many have
Withdrawn
To enclosures
Of emptiness,
Solitude, and silence.

Silence to hear
The gentle speech of God within,
Solitude to be alone with Him,
And emptiness to realise
The fullness of His presence.

Seeking not to escape from the
Reality of life for it is ultimate
 Reality which they seek- the
‘Still point of the turning world’.

They have thrown themselves utterly
Upon God and may they become
An everlasting gift and through
Their prayers may we secure
Christ’s life everlasting.
