Put me down

Crossing the line
Taking what’s never yours from your own kind
Asking for help when ever you're in a bind
But you don’t do the same for others

Wanting what you could never keep
Making others take your leap
Saying three words to others that are meaningful and deep
Always saying you will call but I never get a beep

Holding my face to the ground
Going from guy to guy round and round
Losing my opinion never wanting it found
But because I’m loyal I stay duty bound
While you push me farther into the dirt, always
Putting me down
