Beginning



Rustled leaves animate the silence
Between tall uniform trees of a wood,
Footsteps crackle amidst their glory -
Displaced disturbance crawls nearer;
An isolated alter leaps from darkness
To grab the intention of sharp fear;
Thoughts mangle and twist about
The figure horizontal across ice stone;
But bearded intensity sublimes
From the desolation, radiating blindness;
A postcard of conversation suffices,
Ending with two radiating figures
Constructing a foreign prism of Egypt;
Curtains of wood are opened throughout
The worship room by chained blades;
A landscape of repentance invites
The lost soul and his guide home ...
