"the first four seasons."
As I sit here and write out all that I can,
I look out my window at the land.
The beauty of a December sunrise is in my room,
Glowing up everything; no dark, no doom.
And I ponder at the amazement of Adam and eve,
Of what they must have thought of their first snow, did they believe?
To see each snowflake fall and cover the ground,
Lying great white blankets all around.
So cold but soft to the touch,
Oh! How god loves us this much!
To see it untouched, to see it glisten.
Close your eyes. You'll hear peace. Just listen!
How Adam marveled at a new bud, how he felt those velvety petals, how he saw all that mud!
How he saw the dead become new, beautiful colors like passionate red roses, and tulips so blue!
Then to see them at their fullest in the sun. To get hotter but more beautiful! It's a gift, that god has done.
To watch a beautiful sunset when the leaves fall, to see the warm colors floating, having a ball!
To see the first four seasons was not an imagination.
But it's everything beautiful, but... Nothing at all.
