Mother Teresa-a poem
Mother Teresa, the one good soul
Served thousands and inspired millions
The one who lived to love
As love it self loved her
With her gentle way of life
She waged suffering as her pride
In this materialistic world
She loved nothing but mankind
In a world of fragile fancy
This service symbol stood apart
She taught love, breathed love
And carried love to the poor and sick
When Gold attracted the rich
Her smile attracted the world, as she was wearing
When all searched the meaning of life
This ‘Mother' created the meaning for life
As the world neglected the poor and needy
Her love and service encircled them
When love to mankind tend to be a myth
Her light of love removed the darkness
Though born in a foreign land
To work for the poor in India was her mission
When all the learned searching for peace
She showed peace through her gentle love
Nobel Prize was awarded to this symbol of peace
So what, the Nobel Prize was popular overnight
When the weapon culture was prevalent
Love was her only weapon
Her love killed the seed of violence
Thereby showed the Glory of Lord
When people loved to live
This “Mother” lived to love
When she died, the world cried
The world cried as the peace died
The hope for the poor
The apostle of peace
The symbol of love
And all the above died
If resurrection is made possible by the Almighty
Will it not be a help to her ‘Children'?
All living thing will die and decay
Her message of ‘love to mankind' will never decay
