Paintings
The lights peered through the clouds
Like water gushed from the earth
I gazed upon trees rising
To kiss this beautiful scene
A slowly evolving painting
As the clouds moved like subtle brush strokes
The lights darting through as if they were quick slashes
Of hope
Tears appeared and said goodbye to my face
And I would have been happy to die
Seeing this beauty unveiled before my demise.
