Past & Present

Destruction's wake
 Place I lie
 Waiting for the savior

 Lost to the silence
 Fear absolute

 Till the one comes
 To heal what was broken
 To save what was lost
 To reveal the past
 To relieve the hurt

 Oaths betrayed
 Sorrow insistent
 Pain imminent
 Rejection possible

 Shall what is true prevail?
 Or be extinguished?

 Love is certain
 Peril unknown

 Shall it shatter?
 Shall it heal?
 Only one decides
 One word makes
 One word breaks

 Destruction ever closer
 Shall the savior come
 Or shall they watch

 Past is over
 Present is now
 Future is possible

 But only one can choose
 The possibilities
 The future holds
