Pathetic.

Fragile heart
Crystal bones

Drowning in madness
Alone

Stinging blue empty
Feeling, Nothing

Rip through flesh
and ribcage, Something

Is always there to stop it
Steady shaking hands

Make it all better
Glass turns to sand

Please dont tell me
It's too late

I dont remember writing this
I dont know what you'll say

Hands bleed
Scarlet ink you'll see

Miles of shattered concrete
Smother every scream

If I was never
Meant to live

Then why dont I
Take care of this?

Tired of feeling,
Being alone

I'll try for a reason
to find my way home

Praying for someone
To find

End
My pathetic Life

The poison takes me in
The poison remembers

Just how to make me feel
Like I never knew her

Eyes roll back
Deep Sleep overcomes

Everything I am
The monster i've become

"oh my son,
Why have you strayed so far?"

Burning my flesh
Swimming Through tar

My demons take me
Hold me to their chest

Claims me for empty
I wake coated in sweat

Fragile heart
Crystal bones

Drowning in madness
I am alone.

Josh

I'm 16, I live in Colorado. And I believe in God.I come from a big family, and most of em are moving out by now.I love music, probably too much. I always have my headphones handy if I need to escape.I dont care about the "Rules" of poetry. To me, Poetry is how I express myself and how I share my thoughts and opinions with others. If I can read it, It's worth reading.(Unless it's a sex poem, Those are just worthless.)Please leave a comment if you read my poems and feel you have something to say.It seems like people just zero bomb some of my stuff when I first upload it, I dont mind it, I just wish that people could leave critisism about how I could do better instead of simply destroying my ratings. If you feel like giving me a bad rating, please tell me why. That's all :)"Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known."
