Perfect as it seems

As I look out the window and stare,
I think to myself, what is actually out there?

So many choices, some good and some bad,
makes me wonder of what life I may have had...

Could I've been famous, glamorous, and rich?
Or  would I be poor, broken, lying in the ditch?

Would I still be out-going, loving, and bold?
Or could I have turned out bitter and cold?

Would my friends be same, some fake and some true?
Or would I be alone, or with just a choice few?

So many choices, so many paths to choose,
Each with their own outcomes, flipsides and hues

As I sit and I think of what my life means,
I finally see life is as perfect as it seems
