planet earth vs the human species

PLANET EARTH vs THE HUMAN SPECIES

Planet earth from a distance is quite a beautiful sight
spinning around in space under the mighty sun's light
her beauty stands alone amid the stars of the universe
and all the wonders she holds together is quite diverse
to an outsider, earth's attraction would be a must see
as she is the only one of it's kind there ever will be
but with a closer look reveals how much pain she is in
thanks to the human species that populate the world within
the skies have been diluted by the poisons that chokes her
from all the mechanical inventions that goes on forever
and the oceans are so contaminated by polluted waste
because of mankind's lifestyle always is in selfish haste
then the forests of green are demolished for progress
that makes the earth become a unnecessary toxic mess
also extinction of much wildlife is such a tragic crime
as they will be only a distant memory in due time
planet earth has tears in her eyes as she slowly dies
because the human species show ignorance to her cries
as they will take everything that makes up her heart
until to the day they will finally tear her soul apart
