Please help us!

Julie Marie Angel 1961 (Ohio)

Can you guess who I am?
My kind keeps slipping away
Like through your fingers
Slips grains of sand
And to think that this
Is all done
With your own hands

Leave my eyes
So I may see
Leave my body
I'm not you, I'm me!

Who am I?
You're man kind!
Who can we trust?
Your killing must stop!
This is a must!
Please help us!

What a price
You have put
On our bodies,
Teeth and nails!

For this you belong
In the ultimate jaiil!
Without bail!
For causing what ails
And that jail would be hell!

Who am I?
You are mankind
The killing must stop!
This is a must!
Please help us!

You burned our
Homes
Now there is no where
To roam
And to think that
It was you who threw
The first stone!

You have nearly
Wiped us out!
You are sick
And so gready
Without a doubt

Though here on earth
We suffer much more
It is you who has big time
Suffering in store
For your hideous crimes
Against us that you deplore
As I beg of you, "no more!"

Who am I?
You are mankind
Who can we trust?
The killing must stop!
This is a must!
Please help us!

Because we do not
Use weapons
We baldly need
Protection!

In many ways we
Are stronger!
And we are much smarter!
We could hit back
Much harder!

Are you deaf?
There are few of
Us left!
Before we all pass
Hear me full blast!
In you we do not trust!
Have you guessed who
I am?
Please help us!
