Plus or Minus

Driving north on Route 19,

In my roller coaster of thought,

I find the Suwanee River of serenity.

I find palm fronds amidst the evergreen.

I find that everything is relative to what is placed,

Randomly.

The wide open is wide open for me,

To selfishly dissever and see,

How harmoniously polar opposites can still repel,

One another so unsystematically,

How, even though, can still be.

Be the one, be the other,

For whose unity the bell never tolls.
