Poetry

Poetry can lighten the soul,
 soothe the heart.
And convey the message you
want to impart.
Read it carefully, savour the
thoughts of someone who cares
to envision ideas from their
 heart.
Inspiration may come in many
forms,
Visualize unvoiced words, felt
 and not spoken,
Given as a gift for all to enjoy.

This is the introduction to my poetry.

Anne Rutherford

I have been writing poems since my first son was born.I had poems all over ,stuffed every where.Oct. 06, I was told I had W.M.D.of the eye ,Since then I decided to make the most of my sight now. Had many treatments, operations. I learned to take the good with the bad.I love writing and reading other peoples poems. All my poems are from my life as it has touched me.I have four sons ,nine grandchildren and wonderful daughters in law. The Lord also blessed us with two great grandkids this last year. Married very young to a great guy. I enjoy all types of music, classical ,the most. I so much enjoy the poems on this site and hope you as a group enjoy reading mine.I have many more poems, some that are framed for sale in stores ect. Someone said on here 'you read mine and I'll read yours. This I will do! My favourite line in life is "Have fun while you do it ,or it's not worth doing" and "Never never give up" Churchill Love to all Anne. more…
