Presumptuous Thoughts

Call off the dawgs
The search is over
You can run as you wish
But you will run to me
And I will accept you
As you accept me
We can talk for hours
About anything and everything
Laugh and cry
I do not care what we do
This moment is all we are
This I will cherish forever
You can rest your head on my pillow
I can rest my head on your pillows
As our hearts take turns beating
We give our voices rest
At the stoplight
And give in to the comfortable silence
