Stolen
As I lie here, in this place mysterious,
thrust here unwillingly, with you no longer
here by my side—a pillar to hold me up, or to embrace me warmly.
And forever it takes the complexity of
a word, a phrase, or an utterance to name this
cursed day.
But in came Clarity, with a ruse unveiled, a truth unmasked.
She gave me incomparable desolation, as only in innumerable eternity, I am given an ultimatum, not to commit to you.
Dreadfully , Clarity has given me reason to believe that my dreams, desires, or hopes are no longer safe with you.
From this day on, I was determined to tear away my love from your embrace, and
from the true (iniquitous) nature of your intended fate—for me.
Now that, I begrudge my will to love you,
I offer you freely this hate in my mind and soul.
But, I will not keep this fragmented heart,
that once was whole.
I’ve allowed it to excrete itself from the putrid bowels of my tarnished body, and disfigured soul.
As I reel over and over, to an abysmal fall, shattering from the surrendering
of my all,
pieces of me find their way onto dark walls into grim, and yet again unknown territory.
All of my life I guarded against this inevitable catastrophe.
I said to myself, ‘Love will, or could never harm me’.
Foolish pride, now a victim to a lie—how could she ever have loved me unconditionally?!
