Today, I am a spectator
On the stage of life
Today, I am a student in a classroom
Lectured by another
Today, I stand on the sidelines
Cheering on the players
Today, I am a fan
Applauding the actors
Today, I am a praise singer
Singing the praises of others
Today, I am a member of the audience
Awed by spectacular performances
I stand unfazed by all these
For I know tomorrow will be different

Till then,
I will hope cheerfully
Celebrate completely,
Adore lovingly,
Work honestly,
For one day,
I shall also be celebrated
Today, I follow
Tomorrow, I shall be followed.
