Paradise; Forever, You and Me.

I’m tearin’ up the miles down the lost and lonely highway
I’m runnin’ back to you, cryin’, I need you here today.

The fight we had last night, darlin’, tore my world apart.
I drove the miles away tryin’ to lose my broken heart.

Mile after mile, seconds ticking by.
Time cannot erase the tears I made you cry.
I pray that you’ll forgive me, and hold me oh, so tight!
I’ve seen I cannot exist without you in my life.

I know that I was wrong, and I hope that you will see,
No matter what I said, darlin', I need you here with me.

I’m tearin’ up the miles, oh, I hope that I’m in time.
I’ve gotta get you back, or I will surely lose my mind.

Mile after mile, seconds ticking by.
Time cannot erase the tears I made you cry.
I pray that you’ll forgive me, and hold me oh, so tight!
I’ve seen I cannot exist without you in my life.

The foolish words of a broken heart Weren't meant to hurt, you see.
'Cause my idea of paradise is forever you and me.

Mile after mile, seconds ticking by.
Time cannot erase the tears I made you cry.
I pray that you’ll forgive me, and hold me oh, so tight!
I’ve seen I cannot exist without you in my life.
