Perspective

Edward T Medalis 1939 (Detroit Michigan)

In this universe we're but a trace
Black void engulfs and penetrates
Infinitesimal life form
Drifting quiet, in an endless space
Within the darkness, there is great light
No beginning no end it just transforms
Awe striking creation, womb of matter
Eternal changing form, no wrong, no right
All manner of energy does abound
Immense fusion, crushing atoms tight
Changing patterns, always in flight
Condense into forms that truly astound
All is connected in stupendous scope
Where can meaning exist in this great flux
Meaning is created only by life
Entities of life can also hold hope
