Together a Future

I believe in all of you.
In everything that you do.
Through every joy and violent storm,
Love will help the world conform.
The strength within your heart is true,
It gives you faith to see you through.

We stand and keep each other strong.
Fight this world just to belong.
We started on this path alone,
But we were never on our own.

Surrendering your own soul
Just to make another whole.
Don't let it bring you down
And turn your smile into a frown.
The sunlight will at last break through
And give you a new point of view.

We all face hard times and trials.
We get consumed in our denial.
Yet in the end we find peace again,
With every loss we learn how to win.
It's all worth it when we look back
Gaining strength from all we lack.

Mocked and ridiculed we may be.
Somewhere in the future they will see.
Nothing they do can change our course
Hate is what to expect it from that source.
We still stand strong with our heads held high
Despite the lack of faith they all imply.
I am with you and it’s what I chose,
I’d do it all again if the chance arose.

I see the day quite differently from you
Yet there is still so much to do.
This world can change if we show it how
The future is only what we allow.
Try to look at things from every side
Get all the facts before you decide.

We fight, we stand, we keep each other strong.
We have a plan to fight against what's wrong.
Together the issues can be overthrown,
For a world of hate we will not condone.
