our cliché

on our drive through the plains

feeling the winds through my mane

on your dashboard my feet tapping

Springsteen's "Nebraska" crackling and rasping

coming from the land of nowhere

we've an inkling of going somewhere

on the road with you and Kerouac

a worn cliché with no turning back

writing from my heart when i feel the urge to write, makes me happy and this is natural and freeing for me 🙂
i will consider including some nature poems for the audience…
