Bedtime Story

Quickly the hour flies
My heart weeps and says goodbye
I see no reason to feel this way
Must be some unfinished grief
Of a hidden day..
I walk alone on sandy shores
Wait for Gulls to silently slip out
Of sight,
The sounds of waves will sing through
The night.
The amber sun fills the skies with
Soulful hopes and heartfelt shys
My feet walks over water and shells
While the Church on the hill, rings
Out it's bells.
Now the close of this day, is sweetly
Asking if it can stay..
But the Moon walked in with a relentless
Smile, so day must sleep in this "Midnight
Spell!"
All that my eyes behold, is in A bedtime story
That awaits to be told!

Thank you, Claire! I appreciate your kind words always! I looked into three generations
Of childhoods eyes of wonderment, they have always bring me hope, and joy, they keep me
Looking forward, but ever so mindful of 20/20 Hinde sight is the memories of Thier laughter, I love to hear my family's laughter!
