I’ve been writing poems as a hobby since I was a child. I won a competition when I was 8. I’m 38 now so I thought I’d enter some more. I write a lot of comic poetry that I perform as spoken word as my style has a particular rhythm suited to a spoken narrative which may be missed when read from the page.
