Abba Yusif Birnin Kudu was born on the 17th day of August in 1997 in the suburban Madakanchi Sabuwa area of Birnin Kudu local government Jigawa state in Nigeria. Born and raised in the family of seven, Yusif developed much interest in literature paving way for having the influence of writers such as William Shakespeare on him. Abba Yusif has a vast number of poems written to his credit and a number of novels. "A Seething Cauldron of Dirges" is his most recent novel. He is now in his final year studies at the Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa Jigawa state.
