I'm a 22 years old, textile designer from Lahore, Pakistan. I grew up in Lahore which is evolving into a metropolitan city. Living in a third-world country gives a lot of learning and eye-opening experiences. Being a girl in a culturally regressive society like my hometown has been nothing short of a challenge in itself. Apart from drawing, painting, and designing clothes, I particularly enjoy poetry. It is a source of catharsis for me. I mostly write poetry while meditating and mostly my poems are fresh thoughts. Seeking financial support and international endorsement is my main reason for publishing my poem on this platform.
