I grew up one block from the beach in San Diego County. I love being outside, and had fun raising caterpillars mostly into moths, raising rescued baby animals, and keeping a baby horned toad for a pet. Now, at 74, I live on an island off the coast of WA state, and still enjoy walking on the beach searching for treasures. I live with my little dog, Sadie, a toy poodle.
